Cultural Anthropology is the study of human culture as a whole. It encompasses the similar study of Social Anthropology, which focuses on social elements of humans in society such as social status, roles, positions in social hierarchy, and interaction of humans. Cultural Anthropology uses examples and studies from the past to consider possible solutions to contemporary problems.

“Anthropology demands the open-mindedness with which one must look and listen, record in astonishment and wonder that which one would not have been able to guess.” - Margaret Mead
