Physical Anthropology is the branch of Anthropology that studies evolution of human beings. It seeks to sort human evolution based upon racial and biological changes that occurred as a result of evolution. Physical variation and classification are elements physical anthropologists use to organize their scientific findings. Physical Anthropology is also know by the name Somatology.
